WESTMINSTER, CO: Week 5 Power Rankings | A New Team At The Top

J Fab showing off his jazz hands!

Heading in to the matchup of the season, which has the league's only two undefeated team, Hard Work and Impact Basketball, facing off, we take a look at this week's power rankings.

1. Hard Work (5-0; last week 2): Hard Work tops this week's power rankings with a dominant win against Slam Drunk this week, 92-68. Shondell Lee and Ruban Rivas each had a double-double to lead Hard Work to victory.

2. Impact Basketball (5-0; last week 1): It's tough to maintain the top spot when you spend 43 out of 44 minutes of your game down, but give Impact credit for still finding a way to beat We Goin Sizzler, 82-66. Jimmy Binnie led Impact with 36 points and 11 rebounds.

3. The Gladiators (5-1; last week 3): The Gladiators take the team concept in to each game and they have to be happy with the results. Five guys scored in double figures, led by Rene Chavira with 21, to lead The Gladiators to a win over Ignite Athletics.

4. We Goin Sizzler (3-2; last week 4): We Goin Sizzler lost a heartbreaker to Impact Basketball this week, 82-76. Sizzler had the defending champs on the ropes but couldn't quite close out the game. Sizzler was led by Dustin Jorgensen, who had 24 points in the loss.

5. Slam Drunk (3-3; last week 5): Slam Drunk was out-manned against the undefeated Hard Work this week. Slam Drunk was led by Gehrick Dickson, who had 26 points in the loss. Slam Drunk looks to bounce back this week against Man Bear Pig.

6. The Great Unknown (2-3; last week 7): The Great Unknown looked dominant in their win over The Bad Boys, 76-55, on Tuesday Night. Chad Smith paced The Great Unknown with 24 points on the night.

7. Ignite Athletics (2-3; last week 6): Ignite lost a tough game to The Gladiators on Tuesday, 80-74. The difference was at the charity stripe where Ignite made eight fewer free throws than their counterpart. Blake Irwin had 30 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

8. Man Bear Pig (2-3; last week 8): Man Bear Pig has put together a nice win streak, beating Hoopsters 93-78. Brad Elliott led Man Bear Pig with 27 points and Matt Cannizzaro did his best Charles Oakley impression, grabbing 14 rebounds, including eight on the offensive end.

9. Hoopsters (1-5; last week 9): Hoopsters got their first W on the season, going 1-1 on the night. After losing to Man Bear Pig, Hoopsters took down Get Buckets by a score of 104-61. In the game, Richard Peterson dropped an eye-popping 51 points for the highest scoring game of the season.

10. The Bad Boys (0-4; last week 10): The Bad Boys need to spend some time with June Bug in the hot tub after this week's performance. The Bad Boys are still searching for their first win on the season, and hope to get it next week against Hoopsters.

11. Get Buckets (0-3; last week 11): Get Buckets is still searching for their chemistry after joining the league late. Improvements can be seen as they scored a season high 61 points in their loss to Hoopsters.
