WESTMINSTER, CO: Week 2 Power Rankings

J Fab Getting Worked Up!

Week 2 Westminster Winter Power Rankings

1. Impact Basketball (2-0; last week 1): the defending champs maintain their spot at the top of the power rankings, after hitting triple digits in their dominant victory over Man Bear Pig. Impact had five guys in double figures while hitting 14 threes.

2. Hard Work (2-0; last week 4): the team name is paying off as Hard Work moved up two spots after another impressive victory. Hard Work is winning their games by an average of 31.5 points per game.

3. Ignite Athletics (2-0; last week 5): Ignite notched their second straight strong performance with an 85-73 victory over The Bad Boys. Ignite likes to do a lot of their damage in the paint, as they had four players grab at least seven rebounds in their week two win.

4. The Gladiators (1-1; last week 7): The Gladiators beat a tough, veteran-laden Slam Drunk team 85-79. The Gladiators were gladiators on the boards, grabbing 21 offensive rebounds and also hitting 13 threes in the win.

5. We Goin Sizzler (1-1; last week 3): Hot shooting led We Goin Sizzler to a victory in week one, but they were anything but sizzling in week two, making only 37% of their shots in the loss to Hard Work.

6. The Great Unknown (1-1; last week 6): The Great Unknown bounced back after a tough loss in week one to win by 30 over The Hoopsters in week two. The Great Unknown grabbed an amazing 64 boards on the night.

7. Slam Drunk (1-1; last week 2): Slam Drunk were beaten on the boards in their six point loss to The Gladiators in week two. Slam Drunk was out-rebounded 54-37 on the night, and look to improve on that if they want to get back to the top of the power rankings.

8. The Bad Boys (0-2; last week 8): An 0-2 start isn’t what The Bad Boys envisioned to begin their winter campaign. To get in to the win column, they may want to grab more than three offensive boards in week three.

9. The Hoopsters (0-2; last week 9): The Hoopsters are struggling out of the gates, after losing a lopsided game to The Great Unknown. Not to be lost in their record, Richard Peterson is averaging 29.5 points and 14 rebounds a game.

10. Man Bear Pig (0-2; last week 10): What can be said about Man Bear Pig? A struggling team that plays with only five players is not a recipe for success.
