MANSFIELD, TX: Week 4 Predictions | Milan Sanders Voted Most Overrated
Next Tuesday will wrap up the first half of the season, and we got some good match ups coming your way as 4 teams are tied, while another team looks to keep their record perfect.
7:15 - Lunch Ballers vs Heavy Hitters
I'm predicting this will be the most intense match up of the night. Lunch Ballers have been talking since earlier this week that they will take down Heavy Hitters, who have a perfect record (3-0) so far, dominating with their superb offensive power and ruthless defense. Lunch Ballers put up the points (2nd in the league in PPG), but lack on the defensive end, actually allowing more points than they average a game! It will be a game to watch indeed, but I don't see Lunch Ballers adjusting to the fast breaks and firepower of Heavy Hitters. My Prediction: Heavy Hitters by 8.
8:15 - Hoop Squad vs We Get Buckets
Hoop Squad is struggling to adjust to changes on the roster as well as with team chemistry, but not nearly as much as We Get Buckets, who are struggling to put up even 50 points a game. The addition of guard Ty Pressley will definitely help with their ball movement and facilitation, but the Hoop Squad's offense alone may be too overwhelming for them to handle. 3 of Hoop Squad's players average 20 or more points a game, and even though they are last in points allowed in the league, We Get Buckets significant lack of offense doesn't really put them in any danger. My prediction: Hoop Squad by 12.
9:15 - The Agents vs The Vets
Both teams are 1-2 going into Week 4, but both losses that each team has suffered have been close games. The Agents have found a scoring guru in Desmond Brown who had 35 points in the last contest, and 8-11 from the free throw line. They do lack a big man, and that's where The Vets are really going to hurt them. The presence of Donnie McDade alone is enough to intimidate, and unless The Agents can come up with a strategy, I don't see them coming out with a victory. Also, the veteran guards will back down for no one, and will definitely put some pressure on the young guards of The Agents. My prediction: The Vets by 10.
