EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Will ankle injury sideline All-Star Andrew Klobe for Minnesota Playoffs?
MINNEAPOLIS, MN- For rabid St. Baul and Titans fans of the Bloomington South League in Minnesota, there was nothing glorious about this past weekend's Midwest Regional Tournament in Minneapolis.
The two teams may be without the services of All-Star center Andrew Klobe for the Winter Season Playoffs after Klobe suffered an ankle injury in this past weekend's tournament. Klobe suffered the injury in the Titans' 71-61 win over The Truth in the tourney semi-finals.
As you'll see in the exclusive video at the bottom obtained from the UH Paparazzi video team, Klobe was barely able to walk on the ankle after the injury.
The Titans and St. Baul medical teams are rumored to be combining staff and resources to try and get Klobe ready for the Titans Open Division Semi-Final Game against the UH Classics Tuesday Night at Bloomington South. For St. Baul, Klobe's injury could result in a big slide in the Recreational Tournament Playoff seedings if the selection committee determines Klobe will miss the post-season.
Calls to the Titans and St. Baul front office on Tuesday AM were not immediately returned. Stay tuned for more details.
