MANSFIELD, TX: Vince And The Gang
Vince Benn (center)
He's been wanting to play in the league for quite some time now, but he was always too young to enter the league, and this season he finally got a chance to ball with the big boys. He is a definite standout amongst the younger crowd at the gym (that is, the boys near his own age group), but I always wondered how he would handle the next level of basketball. Does he carry his own weight, so to speak?
He was heavily recruited by Lunch Ballers last season and they finally were able to convince him to join the pack. Vince Benn is not to be slept on, and carries a positive reputation with his teammates as well as with other teams. At 5'10" 185 lbs., he is an excellent ball handler and passer, as well as a power driver and good shooter.
Vince is 2nd behind fellow teammateAdam Rowe in scoring, averaging 15.8 points along with 4.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, and shooting an accurate 49% from the field so far this season. He claims that this is only him warming up to league, and that the numbers will soon increase!
Lunch Ballers are 1 of 3 teams that are tied so far this season at 2-4. With 2 games left in the season, will Vince and the gang be able to propel his underdog team to .500 this season? Leave comments below!
