UH Minnesota legend Tim Williams says former 2006 Heat championship team could still win title in 2012 | Could Heat beat Abe Froman?
Could Williams and his 2006 Heat team still win it all in 2012?
Lake Lillian, MN- One the greats of Ultimate Hoops Minnesota's yesteryears has spoken out, claiming his former team could still win an Open Division championship today.
Tim Williams- who averaged 16.7 ppg and 7.1 reb on the Heat's Fall Season 2006 Championship team- posted on the team's championship picture on Facebook that the Heat could still win a championship in 2012.
The 2006 Heat were the first UH championship team to go undefeated for a season and featured five players with Player Performance Values above $10,000,000. However, of the former Heat players only Ken Maxey is still active in Ultimate Hoops.
So we have to ask: If the Fall Season 2006 Heat played the current Winter 2012 champion Abe Froman in one game, who would win?
