The end of the regular season is in our sights. Teams are vying for the top playoff positions to contend for the league crown in December. Who will those teams be? We take a look at this week's games in Westminster.
The Gladiators vs. The Bad Boys
The Gladiators have quietly worked their way to an impressive 4-2 record while the Bad Boys are in a similar position at 3-2. After a meltdown last week, the status of the Bad Boys is uncertain as whether or not they will have Chad Smith for the rest of the season. The Bad Boys are a very different team without Chad Smith, and they will need Matt Lloyd to step up and fill the void. Matt Lloyd has been quiet this season and has deferred to Chad and Reggie Jackson all year so without Chad, this could be a different Matt Lloyd we will be seeing. The Gladiators are the surprise team this season and their play style is unique enough that teams have trouble guarding them. This is an important game for both teams, with crucial playoff seeding in the balance.

White Iversons vs. IMPACT Basketball
White Iverson’s are 5-1 and are going against the league’s best in IMPACT Baskebtall. IMPACT Basketball was pushed to their limits last week until they were able to pull away in the end. White Iversons have the talent to go head to head with IMPACT and they will look to push the pace and get some easy buckets in transition. IMPACT will likely slow the game down and rely on ball movement to get some easy scores in the paint. IMPACT is the favorite this week, but White Iversons have as good a shot as any to pull the upset.

Purple Cobras vs. The Kardashians
The Kardashians are coming off of a tough loss in a game to IMPACT where they believe they played well enough to have got the win had a few more calls gone their way. Purple Cobras are still winless on the year and is desperate to get into the win column. The Kardashians will look to use this week to rebound from last week and will be out to make a statement. Purple Cobras have some talent on their roster; they just haven’t been able to gel together on the court. This game favors the Kardashians on paper, but you never know what could happen.

The Tropics vs. Eat, Sleep, Ball, Repeat
The Tropics got their first win last season and will need to use that momentum against a very solid team in ESBR. ESBR has been up and down all year but have the tools to be very dangerous. The Tropics will need to have an answer for Blake Mahler, who has been the biggest scoring threat for ESBR all year. The Tropics will need a good team effort to get the win this week, and if they can get all their players playing well and to their strengths, they could have real chance this week.

FireSquad vs. Havoc
FireSquad is feeling good after their win last week against The Bad Boys and will be heavy favorites coming into this week. Havoc is improving each week and a lack of bench players has left Havoc out of breath quite a few games this season. Fire Squad is going to push the ball and look to score quickly while Havoc will likely rely on their outside shots to stay in the game. Neither team prides themselves on defense so this should be a fairly high scoring game. Havoc will need to be on their A game if they want to have a chance this week. Expect FireSquad to win this game, but if they come out underestimating this Havoc team, it could turn around and bite them.

The Tropics vs. Purple Cobras
In the final game of the night, two evenly matched teams will look to get a much needed win as we reach the final weeks of the season. Both teams will have played a game prior, so look for conditioning to be a major factor in this game. The Tropics will need some outside shots to fall their way as the Purple Cobras will likely score most of their shots inside the paint. Two teams with contrasting styles, both hungry for a win, this is one game that will be a good one to watch.
