We're at the halfway point of the season. Let's take a look at the Week 5 matchups.

Impact Basketball vs. We Goin Sizzler

Impact Basketball looks to stay undefeated heading into week 5 against a good test in We Goin Sizzler. We Goin Sizzler is 3-1 and has been impressive the last two weeks. Impact Basketball is star-studded and capable of winning in a variety of ways. We Goin Sizzler might have the most team chemistry in this matchup, so look for them to use that to their advantage. Expect a good game for this matchup with Impact Basketball being the favorite. If anyone can take down Impact, We Goin Sizzler could be the team to do so.

The Great Unknown vs. The Bad Boys

This is a very interesting matchup for this week. Both teams have struggled thus far but both teams haven’t played nearly to their potential. Plagued by injury last week, The Great Unknown is coming off a blowout loss but rumor is Chad Smith is back from injury and looks to play this week. The Bad Boys are coming off another loss in week 4 but this team has way more to them than they have shown thus far. This should be a hard fought game, with both teams looking to get on a winning path. Both teams need a win this week and you can bet on a good game on both ends.

Ignite Athletics vs. The Gladiators

Two very good teams go at it in this week 5 matchup. Both teams have contrasting playing styles so it will be interesting which style will prevail. The Gladiators look to outscore their opponent with 3 pointers and fast break points. Ignite Athletics is more of a half court team that looks to score in a variety of ways, both inside and out. If the Gladiators are hitting from three, this game could get ugly fast, but if their shots aren’t falling it could go ugly in the opposite direction. Expect Ignite Athletics to play their typical disciplined basketball. They don’t make many mistakes and they look to solidify their presence in this week 5 matchup.

Hoopsters vs. Man Bear Pig

Man Bear Pig finally got their first win in week 4 and are looking to continue that streak into week 5. Hoopsters have struggled all season but showed some promise last week. If Hoopsters can focus on the defensive end this week they have a good chance at getting their first victory. Man Bear Pig has always had the potential to be great and last week they finally showed it. This game will be an up and down game with a lot of young players battling it out. I wouldn’t count out either team in this game.

Hard Work vs. Slam Drunk

This matchup has the makings to be the game of the week. Undefeated Hard Work has a tough test against a very good Slam Drunk team. Hard Work has dominated all its games this season and look to continue that streak. Slam Drunk however is one team that is good on both ends of the floor and is dangerous both inside and out and are able to win in many different ways. Hard Work is loaded with talent and want to prove that they are in fact the best team in the league. Expect a close game that more than likely will come down to the last few possessions. If Hard Work is on their game they are very hard to beat, but the same can be said about Slam Drunk. If you watch one game this week, make sure it’s this one.

Get Buckets vs. Hoopsters

In the last game of the night, two last place teams battle it out to prove they are not the worst the league has to offer. No team wants to claim the thrown as worst in the league so expect both teams to be playing hard and wanting this win. Get Buckets has been far from impressive in the 2 weeks they have been around, but no one has really seen enough of them to really put a label on them. Hoopsters are playing their second game of the night and will be tired but also warmed up as well. This game doesn’t have much hype coming into this week but a solid game from either end could change the leagues perception in an instant.
