MANSFIELD, TX: Semi-Finals Predictions | Will 4 Brothers Repeat?

#1 seed 4 Brothers clinched a win last week against underdogs Below The Rim after they pulled an upset against The Agents in Game 1 of the quarterfinals, and they await the winners of next week's semi final game, which is sure to be an intense one nonetheless!

Pippen Ain't Easy will face #2 seed Smash Bros., who have been on 3-game winning streak in what will be, in my opinion, one of the most intense matches of the season.

The teams are pretty evenly matched, with both having more than a few weapons on the offensive side, but I think this one will be decided in the paint and on the defensive end. Smash Bros. have the best rebounder in the league, DonPaul Mitchell (18.4/game) and this is going to key. His offensive put-backs begin to add up and can cause serious trouble for the opposing team. With 3 of their players averaging 20 or more points, they are able to really run up the scoreboard, and if they get ahead soon there's usually no looking back, even when pressure is applied.

PAE's run-and-gun style coupled with their tenacious D will need to be in affect immediately. Star PG Vince Benn can score and will need assists, meaning his team will have to be up there right along with him to put numbers on the board. If they can secure the paint (to a degree) and slow the rain from downtown by Smash Bros. sharp shooters, then they will have an advantage. My Prediction: Smash Bros. by 4.

The big question that most seem to be asking, and have been asking since the last half of the season is: Will 4 Brothers repeat? Are they a dynasty team? Or will they be dethroned this season? Some say without a doubt they will take the crown, some say there will be an upset. You be the judge!
