COMMERCE, MI REC: McKinsey Golfin Break The All-Time Leading Scorer Record

As a ball player, you always compete to be the best and try to set or break records while you are striving for excellence. It is not every day that we have records broken in our Rec League. In our season opener we have finally set the bar high across the nation and that is due to the fact that we have a new All-Time leading scorer.

UH Legend McKinsey Golfin has finally surpassed Ryan Samuelson to take over the crown as Ultimate Hoops All-Time leading scorer. We can't say that we didn't expect this day to happen, we just didn't know it would happen this fast. This is an incredible accomplishment, not just for McKinsey, but also for our leagues in Detroit.

The basket that placed him in the ultimate hoops record books started with his signature hesitation move that froze the defender, then splashed home a step back three pointer in his defenders face. McKinsey became the GM of his team Dat Aint Fair this season and started it off with a victory. With McKinsey playing in three leagues this season and averaging over 28 points in each league, it's hard to see anybody catching him any time soon for the scoring title.

McKinsey is still looking to capture his first title out in the westside Rec League in Commerce, but this award may be a sign that he is due for a title out here. With that being said, congratulations to Mckinsey Golfin for this amazing accomplishment and I'm sure this won't be the last time we see him breaking records.
