TULSA, OK: Mid-Season MVP Candidates

MVP

The winter season has hit the midway point and some players are making huge statements to become the most valuable player for the league. These players have been the most consistent so far and are helping lead their respective teams. A lot of players deserve to be considered for the MVP, but these players have stepped up above the rest. Let the debate begin!!

Daniel McKenna/Jeremiah Morris — these two players for the Wolfpack have helped guide them to an undefeated season so far and help take down past league champions in the Money Team and Old School. The Wolpack are the only undefeated team so far and the main reason is the play of these individuals. Daniel McKennna comes in leading the league in scoring with over 30ppg and also leads the league in ppr at 22.48. He is also shooting a crazy 56% from the field. His teammate Jeremiah has also been instrumental in the team’s success averaging 20ppg and leads the league with 12 rebounds per game. This is the team to beat at the midway point and will be tough to take down if these players keep playing at a high level.

Paul Gray - The Stunners are very happy to have old veteran of the league Paul Gray on their team. He comes in averaging 15ppg, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. He has proven to be one of the best overall players in the league. More than just his stats that is helping his team win; it is his leadership ability that makes him just as valuable. Along with his great play and on the court coaching will lead the team to success.

Will FranklinThe Money Team’s Will Franklin is still consistent as always. He is leading his team in scoring with over 20 ppg and 7 rpg. He is shooting a high percentage as well at close 50% from the field. The returning champions have gotten off to a slow start, but did pick up their first win of the season last week, and were led by the great play of Will as he finished the game with 21 points and 7 rebounds. The Money Team has a few new players on the team, and once they gel together, and the consistent play of Franklin, they will be a tough opponent for anyone.

This is the list of the players who have made the most impact on the season so far. The season is only half way over, so others have time to put make their mark on the MVP race.
