ATLANTA, GA: Week 2 Preview | Upset Alert! Is Enough Said Done?
Chad Cribbs looks worried after last week lost.
Enough Said has an overall record of 70-18 and now there 27 game winning streak was snapped last week against Team Follies. Team Follies was so amped after their victory that rumor has it that they went out for drinks and Follies after the game. This is understandable because Enough Said has been dominating their foes for the past four season and as a unit does not know how it feels to lose. I am assuming that Team Follies would rather have beaten Enough Said in the championship rather than the following season. But I must say with some added additions Team Follies season is looking promising. Now the question remains, how will Enough Said handle its first lost in four seasons. Will they fold or bounce back like champions do.
Hamgense Balls vs. Enough Said 8pm
Mike " The Joker Card" Turner was on the roster of Enough Said at the start of the season and would have been a good addition to this 3X proven championship team. After doing some digging rumor has it that some under ground bidding by Mike “Belly Bump” McCarthy caused for Turner to switch teams before the start of the season. This team pulled off the ultimate pick-up in getting this star. Turner can handle the rock and shoot from anywhere on the floor. He will be a tough match up for Enough Said and rumor has it that Prince Kearney is upset to let him go. Hamgense Balls seems to be gelling very well together and look to be the top seeded team this season. This team is shooting lights out from the arch with 56% in last weeks win. If you do not get out on these shooters they will hurt you from all angles. I am very impress on how this team looks so far. As for Enough Said, they lost there first game of the season which is unusual for this championship caliber team. Their 27 game winning streak was snapped and teams now seem to have the blueprint to finally beat this team. Enough Said had multiple mental errors with technical fouls which they gave up 8 points, which made the difference in them winning. Is Enough Said mentally strong anymore? Rumor has it that all teams needs to do against this team is get under there skin and they will crumble. I was shocked how things got out of hand and Enough Said did not bounce back like they normally do. Team Follies feels that there is a new sheriff in town and Enough Said needs to step aside but if I know any better, Anthony “Streetball Legend” Brown will never let that happen.
Prediction: Hamgense Balls by 15, Enough Said 3 Tech. Fouls
Team Follies vs. Known Shooters 9pm
Coming off one of the biggest and shocking wins of the season, Team Follies is rolling on all cylinders and are quite confident. In last week win against Enough Said they held 3 out of 5 starters into single digit scoring as well as out rebounded Enough Said by 12. Team Follies added some size to their roster and it not only frustrated the defending champs but now they have the recipe to be a championship caliber team. Everyone was shocked by this win beside Team Follies, David “This Is My League” Votta stated, “This time we will not miss out on winning the championship and it was proven last week that we have what it takes to get there again.” This team has started off on the right track and look to add to there winning streak. With Known Shooters, I do not know what team will show up. Last season they lost almost every game of the season but then kicked butt and took names in the playoffs. With only 4 teams making the playoffs this year, the regular season has more meaning. Known Shooters added some great pieces in Thomas Lemon and Tony Neysmith who both have a high basketball IQ and look to take this league by storm. The only thing I question about this team is the chemistry. We all know these guys can play ball but can they play together and contend for a championship. Well only time will tell.
