PHOENIX: Fire just a win away from best record in Tempe | Tate for MVP?
Action from Ultimate Hoops Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ- With just a game remaining on the regular season schedule, teams are ramping up their play in hopes of improving their playoff positioning.
In Ultimate Hoops Tempe, the Fire- who sit at 6-1 this season- can finish the season with the best record and #1 seed if they can defeat 3-4 Hunting Tips on June 21.
But despite having the best record in Tempe, Fire is just third in the Tempe Power Rankings behind the Spartans and Together.
The Fire's guard and former NFL player Robert Tate looks to be a lock for MVP this season. His Tempe PPR is 31.0, just behind Team Breakdown's Josh Hunter. Tate leads the league in scoring with 26.1 per game.
