ALPHARETTA, GA: Week 7 Preview | Exciting Double Header As We Near the Playoffs
When J-Rich is wearing the mask you know he is ready for business.
It's almost playoff time with two weeks left in the Alpharetta Spring league. Which teams will step up and make a statement that they are ready for the playoffs? We will find out very soon which teams are contenders or pretenders.
Spartans vs Enough Said 5pm
When the season started it looked like The Spartans were coming to show Alpharetta how they play in Sugarloaf. With that being said they have not played well so far in either league. For whatever reason they have not had their full team for one game this season. So as they go up against Enough Said, I expect for the Alpharetta Champs to keep rolling. In last weeks win against The Late Starters Enough Said almost had 5 players in double figures in scoring. They play great team ball which makes them hard to defend.
Prediction: Enough Said by 12.
Free Agents vs The Mumford Returns 5pm
The Free Agents played a great game last week Against Team Follies. If they can bring the same intensity this week against The Mumford Returns, they should be able to get their second win of the season. Shooting guard Brian Richardson seems to be rounding in to shape with the infamous mask. If he is wearing it before the game, The Mumford Returns better watch out! As for The Mumford Returns lets just hope that they can get their 5 to show up and play hard.
Prediction: Free Agents by 4.
The Late Starters vs Team Follies 6pm
The last time these two teams met it was a battle with The Late Starters winning in overtime. Team Follies is on a 2 game winning streak, and they are determined to avenge their early season loss. The Late Starters need some players to step there game up. Big man Jonathan Campbell has been inconsistent this Spring. If he does not play well, Team Follies should be able to pull this one out. Team Follies continues to be led by David Graham. With the way he defends and rebounds he is starting to remind me of Dennis Rodman when he played with the Detroit Pistons.
Prediction: Team Follies by 4
The Mumford Returns vs Spartans 6pm
These two teams are both playing two games this week, so this will be tough on there legs. The Spartans are the better team in this one so I don't expect this game to be close. Maybe Sharp shooter Bryan Gates can go off like he use to on a regular basis. If not it may get ugly.
Prediction: Spartans by 20.
