SUGARLOAF, GA: Week 7 Preview | Multiple Teams Fighting for Top Seeds
Team USA can go to 5-2 with a win tonight.
With only a few games left in the regular season. Teams are competing for the top seeds in the Regional Playoffs. This is the time to peak and get all the kinks out. Who is going to get the top spots at Sugarloaf? This week could create some distance between the teams.
Free Agents VS Team USA 7:15PM
Defense, Defense, Defense! This is the only way that Free Agents will even have a chance in this game. Slow the game down and make Team USA guard you. This will be a tough game for the Free Agents, as they have not won a game this year. In week 2 of the season, the Free Agents made the game close, losing only by 7. They had a big production out of Romie Suljic and Troy Smith who combined for 48 points in the loss. They will need the same results out of these two, and the rest of the squad to get big defensive stops.
Prediction: Team USA by 13
Prime Time Playaz vs Spartans 8:15PM
This is my “Popcorn” game of the week. These two teams are a even match up. Prime Time Playaz are coming off a statement game last week’s and seem to be heading in the right direction. With all of the versatile players that they have, I am interested to see if they can continue to improve. With the Spartans, they need a big game out of Marcus “Lob City” Sims. I am challenging you for at least a 15 points and 12 rebounds tonight. With Dominique “The General” Bland leading the way, the Spartans are a team that should not be taken lightly. This is still a tough battle as Prime Time Playaz are playing lights out basketball.
Prediction: PrimeTime Playaz by 1
Rainmakers vs. Team Duke 9:15PM
This is my “BBQ Chicken” game of the week. With last week's loss, Team Duke should been on a vengeance the rest of the season. I am looking for them to come out guns blazing. They will illustrate to the rest of the league that they are STILL the top seeded team. I expect a big production out of Steve “Country Strong” Morant with at least 17 points. The RainMakers have no chance at all in tonight's contest. With the way Team Duke is playing, they might have have 70 points at half-time.
Prediction: Team Duke by 40
