Syosset, NY- Injuries have changed the landscape for the Syosset Ultimate Hoops League.
Number 1 in the league in PPR, Michael Mastro from Unstuck missed tonight's game and is out next week and most likely Round 1 of the Playoffs.
Mastro was missed in the night's close match-up with the Cougar Captains, 66-61. Kyle Shneider kept Unstuck close with his 33 point performance. But Carl Guilbaud answered with 27 points and the Cougar Captains were too much for the short-handed Unstuck to overcome.
Runnin' Rebels' Tre Perry [10.8 ppg, 8.8 reb] missed his second straight game with a knee injury, he will also miss next week's regular season finale. Credit Crunch rebounded from their first loss of the season with a dominating performance over the short-handed Runnin' Rebels. Sam Ytuarte and Joe Furman led Credit Crunch to victory.
Team Blackout continued its winning ways with their third straight win, behind Brandon Dominick's 37 points. Mark Clarke added 21 for Team Blackout. The short manned B-Squad was led by Rob Kayadanian and Robert Warren who had 20 points each.
Steve Dukoff had a double-double to lead the Elders to a 50-41 victory over the Free Agents.
