ALPHARETTA, GA: Week 3 Preview | The Spartans Look to Make a Statement at Alpharetta

It is week 4 in Alpharetta and the Spartans added two players last week that have made them a championship contender. They won their first game of the season by 55 points against the Free Agents. This week they face Enough Said, who continue to play great team ball night and and night out. This game is about more than just these two teams. It's about the battle between Sugarloaf and Alpharetta.

The Late Starters vs Team Follies 5PM

The Late Starters are coming off a tough lost against Enough said by 3 points. This week they face Team Follies. The Late Starters will need sharp shooter Sean Moffett to regain his shooting touch to keep Team Follies from clogging the lane up on defense. Look for Thomas Lemon to have a big game. He scored 30 points with 10 rebounds last week. Team Follies added swingman Tommy Webb. He should have a big game this week as he gets use to playing with his new teammates.

Enough Said vs Spartans 6PM

Enough Said is undefeated so far in the spring league and this week it will be interesting to see how the champs will play against the Spartans. Enough Said will need their dynamic duo Marcus Brown and Anthony Brown to continue to dominate for them to keep their winning ways going. They combined to have 47 points and 31 rebounds in last weeks win.

The Spartans look to go on a 2 game winning streak. In his first game of the spring league, guard Tion Watkins scored 41 points with 11 rebounds. Big man Adalius Thomas will have to bring his A game since he is going up against the best Big man in the Alpharetta league in Brown.

Free Agents vs The Mumford Returns 8PM

Both of these teams are coming off tough games last week. Ty Wride and Brian Richardson are both coming off sub 20 percent shooting performances in week 3. Whichever player can find his shooting touch in Week 4 should decide who win this this game. Richardson has been in the gym all week in his signature training mask trying to get his touch back.
