ALPHARETTA, GA: Week 3 Preview | Will Anyone Take Down the Champs this Season?
Chad Cribbs may be the best 6th man in UH history.
The Late Staters vs. Enough Said. The Game of the Week.
We are in week 3 in Alpharetta and Enough Said continues to roll. They defeated Team Follies last week by 11 points, and their team looks stronger than ever. This week they face off against The Late Starters who look to make a early season statement against the defending Alpharetta Champs. Can The Late Starters knock off the champs?
The Mumford Returns vs Spartans 5PM
This game should be highly competitive with both teams looking to get their first win of the season. The Mumford Returns has a great one two punch in their backcourt with Mike Hattub setting up the veteran Ryan Mumford for his deadly midrange game. The Spartans are rumored to be adding a couple of players this week with size so we will wait to see who these players are. Look for Marcus Sims to have a big game. This could be the week the Spartans finally get a win at Alpharetta.
Prediction: Spartans by 8.
The Late Starters vs Enough Said 6PM
The Late Starters are feeling confident coming off a 4 point win against the Spartans last week. This week will they face off against Enough Said. In this game they will need Justin Boone and Jonathan Campbell to neutralize Big man Ant Brown. If they don't bring their A game it will be tough for the late starters to pull this one out. All season they have been saying they are the best team in the league, but this is a chance to prove it.
Prediction: Enough Said by 4.
Free Agents vs Team Follies 7PM
The Free Agents added two key pieces to their team last week. Henry Morris and Jay Gooden combined to score 53 points in their first game of the season. They look to keep it going against Team Follies who are coming off a tough lost last week. Team Follies will need sharp shooter Gorm Laursen to break out of his shooting slump. Rumored has it that he has been in the gym all week working on his shot. So we will have to wait until game time to see if the hard work will pay off.
Prediction: Follies by 15.
