Spartans 60 vs. Team Elite 55

After a long and hard fought season at Sugarloaf, the Ultimate Hoops Winter Champions have been crowned. With a 60-55 victory over Team Elite, the Spartans claimed their first ever championship.

The game was a back in forth battle with Codie Linton of Team Elite dropping 24 points in the losing effort. He did everything possible to keep his team in the game, but they couldn’t get the shots to fall down the stretch.

The Spartans were lead by guard Chris Brown, who put in a team high 17 points to lead his team to their first championship. His tough play late stopped the Team Elite comeback and closed out the game. His effort was enough to earn him the finals MVP for Winter 2015. The Spartans also got another great game from their star Marcus Sims, who has played consitant night in and night out. The Spartans end the season with a mark of 8-2.
