ALPHARETTA, GA: Semi-finals | Who Will Take Home the Crown?
Does Max Contracts have what it takes to take the title this year?
It’s playoff time in Alpharetta and this year’s final four teams may create the best tournament Alpharetta has ever seen. All 4 teams are loaded with talent and the championship is anyone’s for the taking.
Lot’s of questions will be answered Sunday. Will the loss of Greg Barlow to a broken foot derail the number 1 seed Max Contracts? Having not lost all season going into week 8 the wheels fell off for Max Contracts after losing by 39 to Enough Said. The game got so ugly that the players from Max Contracts couldn’t even finish the game and walked off the court before the final buzzer. They will have to find their way again without their leader. Look for Greg McClaire to lead the way and get his team back on track.
Semifinal 1
#1 Max Contracts vs. #4 The Late Starters
When The Late Starters have their full team on hand, they are a team not to be taken lightly. The team is lead by Tony Neysmith and Thomas Lemon. This dynamic duo has consistently put up big numbers week in and week out. The story of this game will be if The Late Starters will be able to match-up with the superior guard play of Max Contracts. Even without Greg Barlow, Max Contracts has a backcourt filled with former Division 1 and professional talent. I can’t see Max Contract losing back to back games.

Semifinal 2
#2 Team Follies vs. #3 Enough Said
This game is always fun to watch. These teams know each other very well and every season when the schedule comes outs both teams make sure to circle this matchup on the calendar. When the teams met earlier this year in the regular season, Enough Said was short handed and the game was not telling of the rivalry. Team Follies has loaded up with size and talent this season and has shown a completely new look. They have played well as a unit, which has earned them the 2 seed coming into the tournament. This game could go either way and will be decided by who brings intensity early and sets the tone.
Prediction Team Follies by 8.
