FLORHAM PARK, NJ: Florham Park Gets A Makeover and A Whole Lot of Muscle

The U-Hoops winter season has begun, and it looks a whole lot different than last season. The champs dropped their opening game, Free World has a win already, cats are biting dogs, and it’s utter chaos in Florham Park! Although it’s early the team Let’s Get It looks like one to watch. They have height, a couple of good shooters, and a hustler. That’s usually a recipe for success. Nate’s Gang has depth as well as a coach, which is new and different. They’ve begun the young season 2-0 but face a stiff test next week vs Let's Get It. The Mon-Stars like last season look like they’re off they’re game, but we all know they’re going to get it together.

If I can keep it real for a second, let’s address LTF Nation. This isn’t the team from last year. Chris Hendershot anchors a team that clearly doesn’t miss a workout. Our gym General Manager, Paul Russo, is also a member of this squad. If you thought he couldn't play, think again. He’s an enforcer, and he along with their other big, are clearly going to make driving treacherous. There’s a lot of guys in our league that don’t enjoy physical play. If you’re one of them, I suggest you sit out your game against LTF Nation. Those boys aint messing around.

It’s going to be an interesting season. We have new teams, new referees, and new players. It’s a great time to be a member of U-Hoops Florham Park.
