DALLAS, TX: Week 7 Predictions | Will Ghost Trap Take Home Their 1st Win?

It’s week 7 here in Dallas and teams are fighting for better seeding. We may have some blowouts this week, but with these teams you can always be surprised. Let’s jump into it…

6:30PM - Left 4 Dead vs Loud Packerz
This may be the game of the night as these two teams met in week 2 with Left 4 Dead bringing home a last second win finishing the game 73 – 70. Loud Packerz are going to be hungry for a win and have revenge written all over them.

What will be different this go-around? Left 4 Dead’s addition of Sam Mosley is going to extremely help them with rebounds, smart passing, and the occasional 3-point shot. Sam has made Left 4 Dead a threat down low, which is the one place they were weak. And with a team like Loud Packerz, you have to rebound as they love to sneak in for quick offensive boards.

Loud Packerz now have some experience playing with each other. They know who does what well and their chemistry has kicked into gear. If they can take this and utilize to their advantage, minimize turn-overs, and continue to play aggressive defense, the Loud Packerz have a shot at beating Left 4 Dead.

PREDICTION: Left 4 Dead wins by 5

7:30PM - The Downtown Hooperz vs Rim Reapers
This is going to be a difficult win for the Hooperz as they are matching up against size and experience. With Joe Mond and Ben Sokolsky down low to snag rebounds with power forwards Mike Swisher and Jordan Lair to crash the boards and hit jumpers, Rim Reapers have an advantage over almost any team.

A curve ball has been thrown into the mix with the addition of Enyi Nduka to The Downtown Hooperz. Enyi has given the team some more structure and is great at taking the ball to the hole for some hard finishes. He also compliments Marek Chmielowiec very well. His consistent driving to the hole leaves Marek open for 3-pointers throughout the entire game. Marek proved deadly from the 3-point line hitting 9 3-pointers against Left 4 Dead. His shot improves every game.

PREDICTION: Rim Reapers win by 13

8:30PM – Los Santos vs Scoregasms
Scoregasms still prove to be the best in Dallas Athletic, and I doubt it will change when they play against a brand new team to the league. Los Santos will have to work VERY hard to try and keep in this game. Focus on stopping the fast break and slowing the game down on offense will be the key to not getting blown out by these titans.

PREDICTION: Scoregasms win by 26

9:30PM – Full Court Ghost Trap vs Texas Pain Physicians
Will this be FCGT’s first win of the season!?!?! They are the best worst team out there losing most games by just a few points. I have a feeling deep down that FCGT will fight hard to bring home their first W. Their one challenge is going to be stopping Jamal Otula down low…if he shows up. A zone defense will probably be the way to go against TPP. Watch out for a couple sharp shooters and double team Jamal down low and I foresee a win coming from FCGT. BUT…it could go either way. Both teams have the potential to win this one.

PREDICTION: Full Court Ghost Trap wins by 4
