TEMPE, AZ: First Round Recap | The Decision

Well that was easy. 3 of the 4 Tempe Teams take care of business and all win by 20+ on their homecourt. Team X-Over was the only Scottsdale team able to pull off a win against a very strong Downtown team. The big story now is Brandon Walker will be faced with a tough decision as X-Over will be facing off against the Bulls. We know he already said he's choosing the Bulls but who doesn't like a little drama?? What happens if X-Over pulls off the upset? Will they allow Brandon to come back? Thats why we love UHoops! haha Can't wait to read Brandon's predictions for the Elite 8 later this evening! Its going to be interesting to say the least..

Bulls 91 Cobra Kai 72
Shane Zink got his usual double double but it wasn't enough to stay with the defending champs. Big story here now is does All Star Center Shane Zink sign again with Cobra Kai? Shane will be the biggest free agent this offseason in Scottsdale. Any team that signs him will be an instant contender for Fall season.

Splash Brothers 104 Timelifers 62
Superstar Nick Tomsick is coming off the bench now? Did my stats people get this wrong or was Nick having trouble picking out what neon color shorts to wear?? Anyways the Splash Brothers win by 42 and move on. After a quick one and done, how will the TimeLifers reload this offseason?

X-Over 75 Downtown 70
X-Over hangs on and wins in a thriller last night. This was the only game I was excited for last night as I knew both teams were pretty evenly matched. It would have been nice to see Omar Waller suit up for this game. Its a shame we couldn't see Omar and Roberto play together more than one game this season...

Hashtag 95 Pillsbury 66
Hashtag takes care of homecourt and gets double figures scoring from all their players last night. It will be interesting to see how Joe, Jeremiah, and Brad play tomorrow as they have a double header scheduled in Scottsdale as all 3 players play for Team to Beat as well. The offseason starts now for the Pillsbury boys as they look to find that first half magic again. Will they break up or are they reloading?
