FINAL THOUGHTS FOR SPRING 2014

The Tempe Spring Ultimate Hoops season has officially wrapped up this past week and I can honestly say it was one of the most competitive leagues we have ever seen in the history of Tempe Ultimate Hoops. All my predictions pretty much got thrown out the window as both our top 2 seeds lost in the semis.

After going through weeks of adversity the Bulls made a magical run through the playoffs to capture the first championship banner in Tempe. The championship game between the Bulls and Who's Next will go down as a UH Classic and one to remember. #5 seed Who's Next shocked everyone in the gym by beating down #1 Head Bustas in the semis but their amazing run fell a little short in the finals as Brandon Walker puts in the game winning bucket with 7 seconds left in the game. Seeing a #5 seed win it all would have been pretty special. Hats off to the Bulls for winning it all after losing their 2 star players to injuries. They overcame a lot this season and showed a lot of heart throughout the playoffs. I'm proud and happy to say the Bulls are our Spring League Champions.

I want to thank you all for an amazing season and helping me bring Ultimate Hoops back to Tempe. Special thank you to my staff Jovan Wright, Atash Najafian, Borin Ngov, Michael McDonald, Alyssa Lopez and all my officials for all their help this season, I couldn't have done it with out them.
