PHOENIX, AZ: Week 6 Power Rankings | Head Bustas on the Rise

The Head Bustas upset top ranked Monstars this week and the Bulls hang on to remain the only undefeated team in Tempe. We have a lot of movement this week in the rankings. Check out where your team falls this week…

Week 6 Power Rankings

1. BULLS: They got a wake up call this week being down double digits early to Who’s Next. But the team showed a lot of poise down the stretch and showed everyone why they are still the best team in Tempe. Now it’s off to Vegas to show the Nation what the Bulls are all about.

2. HEAD BUSTAS: After beating top ranked Monstars this week I don’t see them losing another game the rest of the season. The Michael Purdie show is for real.

3. MONSTARS: It would have been nice to see Kenny Mahone suit up this week and wonder if the outcome would be any different. Quentin Lawrence been telling me how bored he’s been with the competition this season. Well now you have your wish, because the Bulls are up next.

4. LIFETIME TEMPE: The big three all had 20+ points this week. Talk about a team that knows how to share the ball and play as a team. Good luck to Marcus Atkins representing Arizona in the National Tournament this weekend.

5. WHO’S NEXT: They played the Bulls tougher than any team this season, they were up double digits for most of the game but just couldn’t hold them off. Their record isn’t very pretty but does any team really want to face this team in the playoffs?

6. UPPER ECHELON: I told you guys it would work. I predicted a loss and you guys step up and finally win a game. It was me the entire time sigh. This is also another team I would not want to see in the first round. Joe Hormes might be the best 3-point shooter in Tempe.

7. TEMPE: They fell victim to Upper Echelon’s first victory of the season. It’s 5 straight losses now for Tempe and now holds the league’s current longest losing streak. This team has too much talent to be this bad.

8. GILBERT: Free agents teams are never expected to be any good but these guys continue to show up and compete every week. Hopefully they can pull off another upset in these last few weeks of the season.
