It's the last week of playoffs with the championship game tipping off at 9:15pm tonight! It's down to 4 teams hungry for the championship and ready to do what it takes to take home the trophy. So who's predicted to win? How are the games going to unfold tonight?
7PM: Massive Jammers vs Deceptively Punctual
Massive Jammers are the projected winners for the 7pm game. Seeing as how Massive Jammers are the #1 seed and DP being the underdogs, it would be a hard battle for DP to pull off a win here. But, you never know what may unfold. With the leadership and talent of Cecil Hood to bring his team together, they might stand a chance if their ENTIRE team shows up and plays an unbelievable game. Still, Massive Jammers have a lot of moving parts that are going to be very difficult to put to a halt.
PROJECTION: Massive Jammers win by 24.
8PM: UTEP 2-Step vs SMU
Now this will be a tough game to breakdown. SMU knocks it out of the park when it comes to the first half and getting the big lead with their fast break offense, but they have been known to take it a little easier come 2nd half. On the contrary, UTEP rocks it out the 2nd half making up for any deficit collected during the first half. It will come down to who is shooting well. Will Travis Allison land another 8 3-pointer shooting 67% from 3-point range? UTEP seems to play their best during playoffs. With SMU competing in their first Ultimate Hoops playoffs as a team, it will be interesting to see how they perform.
PROJECTION: UTEP wins by 3.
