FLOWER MOUND, TX: Week 9 Preview | Winter Season Signups
Baron Flenory fighting Scott Everett for the ball
It's the last week of season games at Flower Mound and there will be a lot of competition as teams fight for the best spot possible in the playoff brackets.
Game Day Predictions:
7PM -
The Flo-Mo Saints vs Jordan's Disciples:
The Saints have been relentless this year with a perfect record and a hunger to keep their title as reigning champions of the Flower Mound league. News just came in today that Saints' PG Nino Mansour is out with a bulged disc. What does that mean for the Saints? It will be a loss for them, but younger brother Saif Mansour has been stepping up to the plate filling his shoes and doing a great job.
The Disciples are probably the most competitive team in the league right now and take every game very seriously. Their hunger to win is dangerous and if they bottle that up and channel it into smart game play then they could give the Saints a run for their money. The Saints better not get cocky as it could bite them in the butt if they aren't careful. Jordan Hall is ready to lead his Disciples into a grand victory tonight.
PREDICTION: Saints win by 12

8PM -
Banging 3sss vs The Purple Cobras
This should be a good game as both teams are on a fairly equal level of game play. Recently Baron Flenory has been leading his team into playing a smart game capitalizing on the opposing teams' weaknesses while utilizing the strengths of each one of his teammates. If he continues to lead his team like this then they will have a good chance at victory against Banging 3sss.
Banging 3sss, led by team manager Ayo Adedipe, have to change their style of play if they want to move up in the rankings in this league. First and foremost Ayo has to dominate the post. The only other player that matches his stature is Steve Ringquist of Natty Light, so moving down low and posting up EVERY posession is key to them having a chance against any team in the league.
PREDICTION: The Purple Cobras win by 8
--------
9PM -
Natty Light vs Try Hard(er)
Natty Light has always been one of the strongest teams in the league from day 1 and only continues to get better every season. Tonight's game against Try Hard(er) will most likely be one of their easier wins, but you never know what may happen in an Ultimate Hoops game!
If Try Hard(er) wants to create an upset tonight they are going to have to come together as a team and "play nice". Equal rotations, pass the ball, smart shots, and high fives! Once this happens the talent of this team will shine! They could potentially become one of the top 3 teams in the league if they "try hard" and make this happen.
PREDICTION: Natty Light wins by 14
