MANSFIELD, TX: UHoopaz Spare No One- A Triple Double In Mansfield?
Tristan for 3 of his 44 points
Since losing their very first game of the season, the UHoopaz have been on a ruthless rampage, literally drilling their opponents into the ground. That loss ignited a flame that, from what it looks like, can't be put out anytime soon.
UHoopaz have not only scored more each game than their last (Breaking the "120" mark this past week), but they are now at the top of the ranks in points allowed per game (82.2). Power rankings from the previous weeks had cited them on their lack of defense. Each week they seem to become more efficient individually and as a unit, and one might want to know why. Why are they so powerful, even after losing 3 important players from last season?
It's simple. The UHoopaz are always there and ready to play, and play as TEAM. These factors, as well as sheer talent overwhelm their opponents to the degree that it just doesn't seem fair at all, and this week's game looked EXACTLY like the past few weeks.
Week 6 saw the mighty UHoopaz facing a struggling We Get Buckets in what started out as decent match, but it quickly turned dark as the superteam bombarded them with full court defense and buckets from every angle, area and distance, 18 of which were from downtown! UHoopaz superstar Tristan Smith recorded a triple double with 44 points, 14 rebounds and an amazing 10 steals in the victory, which to my knowledge may be the first recorded triple double here at Mansfield, and if it isn't it's still rarity indeed! Congrats my friend!
The UHoopaz face Lunch Ballers next Tuesday. Will this lethal trend continue? Are the UHoopaz destined to take the crown again this season? Leave your comments below!
