TULSA, OK: Mid-Season Power Rankings

Power Rankings Tip-Off

The Tulsa League at a glance:

Mid-Season Power Rankings -

1. Old School — Old School is by far the number one team in the league so far. They have a record of 4-0 with beating every team by double digits. They are favored to take the championship this year. Having a balanced attack both from the inside and the perimeter, it is going to very hard to take them down. Matt Mardis is currently leading the team worth $16.4M and averaging 21 points per game.

2. Hugh Jass Ballers- HJB is number 2 in the power rankings mid-season and deservingly so with their only loss coming to Old School. They have a record of 3-1. If they can keep up the hot shooting from the perimeter, they might have what it takes to upset Old School. Garrett Homan is a BIG contributor to this teamshooting a crazy 71% from BOTH 3-point land and FG.

3. The Tropics - The Tropics are number 3 in the power rankings with the only loss being 3 points to the Hugh Jass Ballers. They are 2-1 so far this season. They have yet to play Old School, but if they can find a way to beat them, they could take over the number 2 spot. Opposing teams need to find a way to take down high-scoring Shawn Bennet as he has been averaging 27 points this season!

4. The Money Team- The Money Team comes in at number 4 in the power rankings. They are a guard oriented team that relies on their outside shooting. If they get hot they could move up the list and give teams some trouble. They have are record of 2-2 with their only losses coming to The Tropics and Hugh Jass Ballers. Watch out for Will Franklin down low as he is great at snaking his way through a crowd of defenders and finishing the hard to make layups.

5. The WolfPack- The WolfPack comes in at number 5 in the power rankings with a record of 1-2. Their only losses have come from a 3 point loss to the Money Team when they were shorthanded and to the number 1 team, Old School. They have yet to play Hugh Jass Ballers and The Tropics, but if they can beat them they will definitely move up the list. Watch out for Daniel McKenna's dribbling skills as he is great at weaving through aggressive defenders and getting the ball to the open man.

6. The Turtles- The Turtles round up the power rankings at number 6 coming in at 0-4. All though they are winless so far, they have had some close games. They could easily be 2-2 because 2 of their losses have come with a combined 5 points. Kent Clark currently leads this team averaging 27 ppg and worth $13.4M.
