MANSFIELD, TX: There's A New Squad In Town

The 5 team "curse" for Mansfield has been broken with the emergence of a brand new team of ballers, and they believe they have what it takes to come out on top this season.

The team was formed by Marcus Scruggs who literally found all of his teammates in the same day, within a couple of hours, but these guys are definitely no scrubs!

They are called The SQUAD, blending a mix of veterans and young hoopers. Though they didn't get a chance to play against the actual Texas Heat team last Tuesday, The SQUAD displayed great chemistry in a scrimmage game, and had players from other teams watching very closely.
