MINNESOTA DRAFT TOURNEY: Win Wolves vs Heat tickets at Live Draft Party at Hubert's Thursday Night

Who will go number one?

Only Izzy Elkaffas knows the answer to this question as he holds the No. 1 pick in the first Ultimate Hoops Minnesota Draft Tournament of 2012.

The Draft will take place Thursday, December 29 at Huberts in downtown Minneapolis. The first pick is scheduled to take place arounbd 7pm. All Ultimate Hoops players and fans are encouraged to attend and see the draft live. Huberts has drinks specials available for Ultimate Hoops all night long ($3 domestic drafts, bottle and rail drinks and $4 Captain Morgan drinks) and everyone in attendance has an equal chance of winning lower level Miami Heat vs. Minnesota Timberwolves tickets for December 30.

The actual tournament will take place January 7 and 8, 2012, at the Bloomington South Life Time Fitness location. Pool play will start on Saturday, January 7 at 9:00 am with the last pool play game of the day scheduled to tip off at 2:00 pm. Single elimination playoff will resume on Sunday, January 8 at 9:00 am, with the championship game tipping off at noon.

Those 48 players will be drafted over 7 rounds by GMs Izzy Elkaffas, Scott Nelson, Tim Allen, Eugene Phelps, James Pinkett, Nick Roell, Heath Stoll and Erik Bohn.

Nick Roell is also trying to organize a Pre-Draft Pickup Ball Run at the Target Center Life Time Ultimate Hoops court at 5:30pm.
