Most Valuable Player Watch

1. Jordan Nazarene
Jordan had the highest PPR this past week and he earned every point of it. Despite of his team's lost last week Jordan is always fighting hard and stays competitive. He had a double double with 29 points and 10 rebounds. His energy also helped his team's energy stay up for most of his game. A lot to be seen from this young man for sure.

2. Stanleigh Mitchell
A new player to hit the MVP watch is Stanleigh Mitchell from Tough Juice. This guy has a crazy motor not to mention his athleticism as well. He has defense, speed and a great work ethic. He had 77% fg percentage last week and 100% Free throw and was one rebound away from getting a double double with his 27 point performance. If Tough Juice wasn't a big treat before now they are.

3. Lorrington Murray
Another first time in our MVP Watch his Lorrington Murray. Lorrington didn't have a high 30+ point game but its all the extra things he did. Lorrington had 24 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals last week vs Red Hawks also giving trouble to the other team with great communication keeping his team on their toes. Hes collective performance easily earns him MVP.

Defensive Players of the week

AjaxJustin Wiltshire
Big boy Wiltshire is always giving trouble to the opposing team. Boxing guys out for defensive rebounds and making it harder for anyone else to come in the paint. Along with his 18 points last week he had 18 rebounds 8 of which were defensive.

Mississauga - Travis Francis
Travis Francis is a go getter. whether its the ball in air off the rim or the ball in the air off of someone's hand hes getting it. Travis has the new blocking high in our league so far with 4 blocks and many defensive rebounds. Hes very loud in the front court and talks to his teammates on defense while having the whole court in front of him.

Offensive Players of the Week

AjaxHarpinder Athwal
One of the newer players in the league Harpinder Athwal is constantly showing what hes made of. this past week he was the sole reason his team stayed in the game for most of it. He did all from hitting long range three pointers to driving inside absorbing contact and getting And 1 plays. Now that he seems comfortable I foresee even more damage in future weeks.

Mississauga - Jeremy Alleyne
Mr.Efficient back at it again. Jeremy Alleyne had another great performance last week scoring 37 points and 12 rebounds. He was all over the defense getting 4 steals and helped lead his team to victory hes another player with a great motor and High IQ. You may continue to see his name in the MVP watch week after week.

Stay tuned for next week's MVP Watch and predictions and see if coordinators Clive and Rovonn were correct with their predictions. Defensive and Offensive players of the week are announced every other week so stay consistent.
