Team Follies vs. Known Shooters 7:30

Team Follies from the outside looking in illustrates that they are the number 1 seed as well as a team that is hungry to win a championship. This team lost in the Finals against Enough Said last season and are one game away from returning. This team has had its ups and downs all season but the question remains can they win when it counts? I personally feel that this team is a fraud and I refuse to be fooled. They do not play solid defense and when it comes to their offense, it is not a factor. I am challenging the following players to step it up in order to get back to the promise land. I strongly doubt that these players are even capable of preforming like a champion. I challenge David “This Is My League Votta, Douglas “ 8 Mile” Rhodes, David “I Eat Offense” Graham, Jarett “ 30 For 30” Hinton, and Chadam “ Paid In Full” Cole. If this starting five can work together and play sound noise defense they they will have a chance. But, I doubt they will come up with a win as long as David “ This Is My League” Votta is conducting the floor. Doug “8Mile” Rhodes needs to run the offense and Votta needs to play the wing where he can be more of a factor.

Known Shooters is a team that added some very key pieces and look championship ready. With Ty “Sharp Shooter” Wride conducting his soldiers this team can almost guarantee a trip to the Finials. I like how this team plays, they are a team that grinds and hustles for everything they got. Tony “ Jumpman, Jumpman, Jumpman” Neysmith is finally playing at a super star level and it took until the playoffs for him to be a true form. In last week Play-In game, Neysmith had a quality resume with 31points, 11 rebound and added 6 assists. Neysmith plays better when someone doubts his game. He is the type of player that fuels off of doubts and enjoys taking up new challenges. Neysmith is leading his team in points, rebounds, steals, as well as blocks. If his teammates just get him the ball they will win conveniently. Now lets gets to the grunt work. My, “ Are You Kidding Me” moment is the recent play of Micheal “StarWars” Griffin in last weeks Play-In game went 4-14 from FG and an astonishing 1-9 from downtown. Now in the past Griffin has had his slumps in shooting but “ Are You Kidding Me!” If I was Team Follies, I would just let you shoot because you have not proven at all that your capable of knocking down the open shot. If I am wrong, which I doubt then prove it to me Micheal “StarWars” Griffin.

Prediction: Known Shooters Win Conveniently by 17pts

Enough Said vs. Bricklayers 8:30pm

The Bricklayers are the new kids on the block and are looking to take the leagues by storm. They will have a tough matchup since they are going up against the 3 time defending champs in Enough Said. This team is solid and they move the ball around until they get the right shot. Some may say that they are a bit dirty in there play but this is the playoffs baby! I am looking forward to the production of Sterling “Go Dawgs” Whitworth. In the regular season against Enough Said, S. Whitworth was giving Marcus “I Hate Your Floater” Brown the business. He had 20 points and 4 rebounds. Sterling is a known shooter and if you do not get a hand up he will have your lunch all night. I like this guys game as well as his passion. I expect a monster game out of him and for him to will his team to a much needed win. Bricklayers are leading the league in steals and assists which illustrates that they move the ball around on offense and lock in on defense. Enough Said will have their hands full.

Enough Said are respectfully the 3X defending champs and almost lost last week due to once again technical fouls. They won by the skin of there teeth but if they continue to let there emotions get the best of them, they will be watching the championship game from there couch. Enough Said could not ask for a better game to play in the Semi-Finals as the only games they won this season was against the Bricklayers. Rumor has it that Enough Said is truly confident against this team and looks forward towards this battle. In the regular season Enough Said won both games by only 5 points. I few technical fouls hear and there, Enough Said can easily lose this game. I expect a big game out of Buck "Riverwood" Jenkins, he has not played against this team and I feel that no one on the Bricklayers has anyone to match up with him. Jenkins creates defensive problems for any team and I look forward to his play.
