COMMERCE OPEN: Game Predicitions | Fight for playoff spot
Julius Barnett with the tough layup | Tune in for the rematch tomorrow night
With the last game of the season upon us there are some interesting things going on tomorrow night. Fighting for a playoff spot, which team has the best guard duo, and a friendly rivalry game. Let's see what the predictions are this week.
Game #1 Sons of Basketball vs Weekend Warriors - In the last game of the regular season, one team is playing to keep their playoff spot, while the other team is simply playing for pride! Both teams will come out the gate swinging, and they will keep swinging until that final buzzer goes off. I hate to say it but I don’t think GM Darius Statum will let his team have donut in the win column this season. Sons wins a close one 76-73.
Game #2 Shelby’s Finest vs Runnin’ Rebels - This is the GAME OF THE NIGHT! There was a lot of trash talk after last weeks games were over. Runnin’ Rebels own Jermaine Kilbourne aka Kil is on the record saying that Shelby can not beat this team. The guard play will be on display, with McKinsey Golfin and Vaughn Gray for Shelby. But the Rebels guards hold their own and can get buckets as well. Julius Barnett and Phillip Thomas can both go for 30, along with the trash talk and grittiness from Kil. Hopefully we can get an exciting finish. Shelby wins this one 86-80.
Game #3 C4 vs Hit Squad - In our last game it features 2 teams who won’t say it, but they are rivals. Hit Squad lost to C4 by 21 three weeks ago. No matter what happens in this game tomorrow, both teams will see each other in the 1st round of the playoffs. C4 wins in another blowout.
