DALLAS, TX: The Perfect Matchups | Week 4 Predictions

Week 4 may be the most competitive week yet for the Dallas Athletic league. Each game seems to be evenly matched with a winner probable for either team. Let's jump into it...

6:30PM - Massive Jammers vs Rim Reapers
This will be a tough game for both teams. Rim Reapers are much more deadly with the addition of Kreston Martin to the squad, and now that they have Stan Cavin back their threat from 3-point land has increased. But will this compare to the speed, experience, competitiveness, and intelligent game play of the Massive Jammers? Maybe...but I am going to have to say no this time. I can see this game being within 4 - 6 points of each other the entire time and then the Rim Reapers slowing down at the end giving the Massive Jammers the edge they need to finalize a win. The Massive Jammers are looking sharp this season and the Rim Reapers need to double check their team chemistry.
PREDICTION: Massive Jammers win by 12

7:30PM - DT Angels vs We Get Buckets
A fight of the titans is what this game will be. Both have a wide array of different style players anywhere from the outside sharp shooter to the strong-arm football player. We Get Buckets will need to keep an eye out for Patrick Wood and ensure he doesn't go off from 3-point land, because he will if given the opportunity. On the opposite side, DT Angels better not let Josh Small get into their head like he did against Left 4 Dead last week in their overtime victory.
PREDICTION: We Get Buckets win by 7

8:30PM - Team Fundy vs Uptown Ballerz
Team Fundy will have more of a difficult time against the Uptown Ballerz with some big additions to their team, including Eric Baird. Eric is great at the drive and dish, and if he doesn't dish don't be surprised if he makes the difficult layup for a quick 2 points. Add big man Luke Mergerson to the picture and you have a well formed team. But, Team Fundy also made a big addition to the team with Wade Havins being thrown into the lineup. He kills it from downtown. You better man up and switch on picks if you want to stop him from dropping 3s left and right. This will be a close game.
PREDICTION: Uptown Ballerz win by 3

9:30PM - Texas Pain Physicians vs The Downtown Hooperz
Originally this would have been a really close game, but with the addition of Jonathan Blair and UH veteran player Martin Salinas to the team, this game is going to be much tougher for Texas Pain. Texas Pain will need every single player to show up if they want a shot at victory. The Downtown Hooperz are no longer scrubs and are now ready to compete.
PREDICTION: Downtown Hooperz win by 14

Left 4 Dead and Scoregasms have a bye this week.
