MANSFIELD, TX: Week 7 Predictions

This season has seemed to pass by quickly, so quickly that we haven't really heard much talk about the playoffs, but they are surely right around the corner! With only a couple of weeks left in the regular season, we'll take a look at the match ups in Week 7.

Game 1

The red hot Hoop Squad, who are on a 4-game winning streak will face 4 Brothers who had a bye last week. Right now it looks as if everyone on Hoop Squad has the potential to have a breakout game at any given time. As a team, they are playing exceptionally well together, and are armed with many threats. If one player is having a cold game, another teammate is easily able to step up and do work. With 3 players averaging over 20 points a game (2 of the 3 avg 30+ points) and 1st in scoring (92.6 ppg) as a team, I don't see them losing against 4 Brothers, especially if Julian Johnson gets in his "mood" again, which is more like kill and destroy. Hoop Squad wins by 12.

Game 2

This game may be more evenly matched, as we see The Agents face off against We Get Buckets. The Agents are struggling to close out games, but they play each game with a lot of intensity and heart, and definitely aren't the type of team to just give up. They have 5 players on the roster, and 4 of them average over 14 points per game. We Get Buckets' gaurd Ryan Allen has found offensive help in the likes of Shey Holman who is actually the leading scorer as of now with 20 points per game, and the Garcias, Avery and Jeremy who are both in double figures in scoring. I see this one being pretty close, but considering the tendencies of each team, We Get Buckets may have a slight edge. We Get Buckets by 5.
