KJ: You like me! Which is good, because I adore y’all.
Seriously, what is not to love about this league?
You like me! Which is good, because I adore y’all.
From the bottom of my heart—THANK YOU!
When I set out last week to challenge you to vote on my blog, I honestly was under the impression that only four people, many of whom were related to me, even bothered to read it.
In fact, I was going to give the blog one more week, tell Double A I gave it the old college try and fold the whole blogging experiment all together*.
What I** wasn’t prepared for, was for y’all to come out in packs to defend your turf and get this little girl a much needed vacation.
So, while I joke around and spit a lot of sass, please know I’m truly humbled by your attention.
Especially the proposal. Don’t think you’re getting out of that very easily, Joshie.
I’d like to think I’m pretty, witty, sassy and aware. But I’m also smart enough to know that I don’t know everything.
I was wrong. You do read my blog. Please know I adore you for it. And it means a lot to me.
Even you, Briggs. Love me or hate me, it’s still an obsession.
But, Scottsdale, get ready—I’m coming to visit! Do you think you can truly handle 72 uninterrupted hours with me? Lucky, lucky, lucky you.
Now, I can’t guarantee that I’m coming out tomorrow. Or really next month with the start of triathlon season now upon us. But, before snow hits Minnesota again—I’m all yours, Xover and friends.
Way to bring out the entire league*** to represent your destination. The competition wasn’t even close. I know the front office joins me in being in awe of you.
Contest aside, there’s been a lot of Ultimate Hoops in my life lately.
From the Elite Eight on down, I’ve been keeping close tabs on the road to the Minnesota Recreational Gold Cup Game.
And, while my Celtics continue to disappoint me to no end by constantly falling out of bracket play earlier than they should, I’m pretty entertained with the ball I’ve seen as of late.
From the beards on Phoenix Down to the ref complaints of the Riddlers to Arthur Williams in a purple suit for his cameo Ultimate Hoops Broadcast appearance and the secret off-court bicep program I think Neuenfeldt has his Rebels following—what’s not to love about this league?
Wednesday night is the Gold Cup Game at Bloomington South. You know I’ll be there courtside. In fact, my new favorite team is playing. Sorry, Celtics. I’ve been upgraded.
If you’re not near Bloomington South for the Gold Cup, I highly suggest you catch the rebroadcast Thursday. Let’s just say I’m planning on bringing a little surprise for the Champions.
As always, see you next Tuesday here at www.uhlife.com. And once again, love y’all!
* I’m not saying there were tears, but let’s just say there might have been tears.
** And the entire Ultimate Hoops front office, I might add.
***Which one of you is buying Joe Neuenfeldt drinks as shipping me south was originally his idea?
