When it rains, it pours, Warrior’s Bill Treece drops forty-five points in a win over the defending champs on Saturday. Shooting sixty-seven percent from the field, Pistons had no answer for Treece and no answer for the turnovers with fifth-teen today. Mckinsey Golfin had thirty-five points for the Pistons, but DeAndre Cottrell and Darrius (Doc) Summers didn’t seem their usually selves with both combining for four for seventeen from the field. Hooter Warriors win eighty-six to seventy-five.
Bulls edge Thunder in a close battle, with Brandon Boyle and Vaughn Gray shining on Saturday. Boyle had forty-one points and nine boards, while Vaughn Gray almost recorded a triple double with thirty-nine points, ten assists and grabbing nine rebounds. It was not good enough said Gray after the game, as they came up short by three. Vaughn had the last shot to tie it with seconds remaining, it didn’t fall. Bulls survive and improve to 2-0 of the spring season winning eighty-three to eighty.
Dequan Wilson and Jason Farr had one of their best games yet together combining for forty-two points in a much needed win over the Lakers. It was a close battle till the fine four minutes when the Nets started to pull always. Todd Lueck faced struggles at the three point line only making two out of the twelve three point shots. Lakers shot a whopping thirty-nine percent against Nets sixty-nine percent shooting which was the deciding factor of this game. Nets win sixty to fifty.
