MANSFIELD, TX: Lunch Ballers Add Old And New Weapons
Vince pushes it down the floor for 2
The Lunch Ballers struggled in every aspect last season, but with a reassembled line up this Winter, they kick it off with a W, and are already claiming that you will see them in the championship this season. That's a pretty strong statement seeing that we've just begun the season, but what has changed for these guys?
For one, the Lunch Ballers welcomes back prolific scorer and assist specialist, point guard Adam Rowe, who was out for the last couple of seasons. Averaging 22.3 points for his career at UHoops, and with his ability to push the ball, move the ball with crisp passes and with a knack for directing his team, they are glad to have him back. He is undoubtedly their leader.
They've also acquired Dillon Pucket, who has committed to playing with the team this season. He put up 19 points in game 1 against We Get Buckets, and is known for his offensive and defensive prowess. Him, along with the young talented guard Vince Benn and newcomers Joel Asagba and Angel Padilla running the forward spots, this team assures us that they will not be plagued by their shortcomings of the past.
Will this newly regenerated team see their first winning record (best record was 5-5 last Spring) since forming? Is it too early to say we will see them in the championship this season? Leave your comments below!
