Is new interim Phoenix Suns coach Lindsey Hunter still haunted from not winning a UH title?
A big congrats to former UH player Lindsey Hunter on being named the interim coach for the Phoenix Suns.
As a guard with five NBA teams, Hunter averaged 8.5 points, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 937 games, 438 as a starter. He won NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2002 and the Detroit Pistons in 2004.
In his brief six game Ultimate Hoops career in Chicago, Hunter averaged 27. 3 ppg and 3.5 ast and 2.5 steals. Unfortunately, Hunter never got a taste of the Ultimate Hoops championship he was desperately seeking to make his basketball playing career complete.
