COMMERCE OPEN: Predictions | A fight to stay alive
Rashodd Ross trying to keep his team in the game
Half way through the season and things are not looking so well for the once champions Runnin’ Rebels. This game basically dictates if they will make it to the playoffs. Can Rashodd pull of some magic or does he need to start recruiting from next season from now so he doesn’t start off 0-4 again.
7:00 p.m. – #4 Dat Aint Fair (2-2) vs. #6 Runnin’ Rebels (0-4)
The Running Rebels need this game to have any chance at the playoffs. If Rashodd Ross can get his full roster to show up and they play desperate, they could pull the upset. I’m going to bet on the talent of Dat Aint Fair pulling this one out though, but it will be close.

8:00 p.m. – #5 Sons of Basketball (1-3) vs. #2 C4 (3-1)
C4 will be without their C Joseph Kassis and SG Jeff Jayson in this one. With two dynamic playmakers in Justin Dabish and Brandon Nafso commanding Sons of Basketball’s attention, players like Rich Katona, Mike Hand, and Matthew Manni are going to have to step up and make shots. The inside presence for Sons of Basketball provided by Joel Simpson and Daniel Enright creates some matchup issues for C4. This one could go either way.

9:00 p.m. – #3 Ill Life La Familia (3-1) vs. #1 Hit Squad (3-1)
The best of three really competitive games on this night, two teams still trying to prove they belong at the top of the league battle in our nightcap. ILLF is going to need big efforts from Chris Dierker and Dominique Washington as nobody has been able to stop Hit Squad PF Rocko Holmes yet this year. The guards match up pretty closely but this game will be won in who dominates the paint.
