COMMERCE, MI 6FT & UNDER: Team Brandon Pulls It Off Again
Team Brandon Wins The Championship Game
It has been a long, eventful summer season, but it had to come to an end. Week after week teams were fighting to be crowd champions and have their names on the banner hung from the rafters. Only one team was able to do it and that was Team Brandon who stole the show and won this seasons championship.
Coming into the playoffs as the lowest seed, no one gave them a chance to get out of the first round, let alone with the title. With each team centering on Brandon Nafso each game we all knew his supporting cast would have to play their best basketball to upset the higher seeds and that they did. Joseph Dabish took his game to another level in the playoffs.
With Angelo Esho experiencing severe cramps on his leg, Team Brandon took full advantage and played a faster pace game. Angelo showed the heart of a champion by trying to play through it, but ultimately his teams efforts fell short.
While we all know Brandon is the catalyst to his teams success, there is no way they win this seasons championship without the outstanding play of Joseph Dabish. He finished the game with 23 points and for threes while Brandon nearly triple-doubled with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assist.
Congratulations to Team Brandon on a tremendous season and showing everyone that you can't count the underdogs out.
