SHELBY REC: Cream Team Loss Gives New Age Titans Hope
Y-Lie won against Cream Team this past Wednesday giving the New Age Titans hope to make a push for the playoffs in the next 7 days. Cream Team needed a victory to secure it but with the loss, it gives the Titans a fighting chance. Y-Lie’s Jason Farr had his best game so far this season with 27 points and grabbing 11 boards. Johnnie Brown led scoring with 28 points in the game. Tyrone Jordan had a season high of 18 assists as he also contributed to this win. Keith Morris and Henri Davidson led the charge for Cream Team with a combine of 61 points, but it wasn't enough, and lost by just 1 point to Y-Lie.

Wildcats fought hard in the first half of the game, leading by 3 against the undefeated House of Skillz, Sully Youanis had 39 points and 11 rebounds. As the second half started, House Of Skillz dialed up the tone, and exploded scoring 71 points in the half hitting 19 three pointers in the game. Leading that charge was Bill Treece with 49 points yet again another high scoring game for him. Anthony Amabile also came to play, with 27 points, hitting 6 threes in their rout against Wildcats. The Wildcats lose, but still look to secure a playoff spot in two weeks.
