PHOENIX, AZ: Week 6 Preview | Let's Get Ready to Rumble

Hope everyone is ready for some fireworks this Tuesday night in Tempe. Week 6 is shaping up to be an epic week. We have the Monstars getting their first real test of the season going against the new look Head Bustas and we have star center Mark Price going up against his former team this week. What more can we ask for?

6PM TEMPE VS UPPER ECHELON: Team Tempe hasn’t won a game in a month and Upper Echelon hasn’t won a game all season. You think these teams are hungry for a win this week? All signs point to yes. Josh Henderson of Tempe and Tevin Newell of Echelon have both had very solid seasons scoring double figures in every game. I’ve been calling for an Echelon upset since week 2 but they have lost every game, maybe if I try the opposite they will come through this week?
PREDICTION: Tempe by 4

7PM BULLS VS WHO’S NEXT: Instead of making a prediction on this game I should probably just set a over/under on when Mark Price gets ejected from the game. If you haven’t seen his interview this past week about the Bulls, stop what you’re doing and go click on the previous article immediately. Three weeks ago this game would have been a blowout by the Bulls but now it’s turned into one of their biggest games of the season. I haven’t been this excited for a recreational basketball game since my first YMCA game in the 1ST grade.
PREDICTION: Bulls by 1

8PM MONSTARS VS HEAD BUSTAS: Word on the street is star guard Kenny Mahone is on vacation and will not be suiting up for this game. Uhh-oh… I smell an upset. The Monstars have been rolling all season and now face their toughest test without one of their top players. I really hope the Monstars will have their full lineup for this game but with them you never know who’s showing up. (Kenny will be sending me a tweet in about 4 minutes after he reads this.)
PREDICTION: Head Bustas by 2

9PM GILBERT VS LIFETIME TEMPE: Not only did Lifetime Tempe lose out on the Michael Purdie sweepstakes but their 3 game winning streak came to an end as well. But at the same time, half the Gilbert team didn’t show up last week because the game was past their curfew. With these circumstances, we’re lucky if we have a 9PM game again this week.
PREDICTION: Lifetime Tempe by 8
